Our newest update to Workflows is calculated fields, which calculate values in real-time based on other values in the form. We’ve had many customer requests for this feature as it means users can now add an extra element of functionality to their Workflows, allowing them to enhance workflows such as:
- Calculate revised Cost Estimates in real-time
- Input costs and pull through remaining budgets from other workflows
- Update values to a selection from multiple scenarios, e.g., when creating a Business Plan Calculate a value in response to emerging information, e.g., ROI, risk rating or cost estimate revision
Calculated fields can be applied to single line fields, static tables and dynamic tables.
You can type in simple calculations or you can create a calculation from different fields in the form. You can even perform calculations on a range of columns.
